Going home every Christmas is all about family and friends. It is what I always look forward to every year - to spend time with them. And I'm glad I made the most of my going home to Bacolod City. I spent every moment I could with my mom and brothers (also with cathy and matthew - the new members of our family) and made sure that I saw my best friends.
2008 was the first time for us to celebrate the Holidays without our father. He passed away a month ago, and although we miss him dearly, we are comforted by the fact that he is now in a much better place, in Heaven with our Creator and King. (Click HERE for wake and funeral photos.) Though I cannot relate to anyone how i feel without him, I'm just waiting upon the Lord for his plans for our family. I know that God's favor has always been with us.
CHRISTMAS EVE
