Entries for November, 2005
I have nothing substantial to say really. I just want to show everyone how much fun we have around here and how crazy we get sometimes. (Joni, you should have been here.)

I found these already-been-feasted-upon-by-mice newspaper clippings as i was rummaging through my junk files. Im reminded of my ARTIANS DAYS, one phase in my life i cannot easily get over with. Even up to the present, no one has ever equalled our cheerleading feat (locally speaking of course). These are just a few of the mementos i have of the many priceless victories we have tasted. And im giving back all the glory to God.

It`s an honor for the Philippines to host the 23rd SEA GAMES. And it`s even a greater honor for Bacolod to host 4 events -- Men`s Football, Men`s and Women`s Volleyball + Beach Volley, Boxing, and Weightlifting. I intended to post a separate entry for the Opening Ceremony that took place November 19th, but unfortunately, our pc is currently under repair (where all my files are saved). Now i`m stuck with my dad`s laptop and with no files.
Ok! Me and my dad enjoyed our Sunday afternoon watching 3 volleyball matches at the new West Negros Gym. The first game (women) was between Singapore and the Philippines. And yeah! we won 3 straight sets! GO PHILIPPINES! The crowd went crazy everytime the song "Pinoy Ako" by Orange and Lemons was played and a number were proudly waving the Philippine flag. Funny how this song has united the Filipino people. Small things like these make me proud to be Pinoy! The second game (men) was played by Vietnam against Thailand, Thailand finishing the match with 3 to 1 sets won. The Philippines was up against Myanmar for the last match (men) of the day. But after the first set, won by Myanmar, my dad and i hurried off to the Sunday Celebration of our church`s conclusion of the Forty Days of Community. Basing on the performance of team Philippines during the first set, i assume they lost to Myanmar.
Our church was already crowded when me and my dad got there. We were just in time for dinner actually. In summary, the Celebration Sunday was an eventful gathering. There were several performances prepared by the different church ministries, which included testimonies, dance numbers, and music making, featuring my brother`s band, Jeremy`s Duyan (?!?!?!). The part I always enjoy the most is when i get to spend time with my friends, and I did just that. After listening to Jeremy`s Duyan and after hours of bonding with my friends, my exciting day finally ended.
