lost opportunity eh?

I happen to be one of the lucky students from our class who has been chosen to attend the JG Summit bla bla and might actually get the chance to be hired by the corporation. But, I did not show up. Our thesis group (which is by the way, killing me already) finished working at 2am. And the JG Summit thingy started 8am. So, I wondered, where do I fit in my 10 hrs of sleep and the time to make my resume, plus getting conditioned for the exam and breakfast. In the end, I decided not to go anymore. I was unprepared. And now i'm thinking, did I let a big opportunity pass me by. I hope not...

a message from our mentor

ey guys, pls someone pinch me quick...am i in the year 2005? it was exactly january 24 wen i stood in the middle of La Salle Coliseum, watching cheerleading performances from different colleges...i cannot believe that i was actually watching "lasalyans" strutt their stuff....ey wats happening? i thot La Salle is the cradle for american cheerleading????or is it the cradle for possible masskarra street paraders??? or possible domestic helpers abroad??? dear "Lasalyan", u need to understand that cheerleading is all about DANCE + GYMNASTIC SKILLS...duh wats wid the swords? wid the ropes? or with the ladder? worst, a stick wid matching garters???eeewwww one thing i learned during my masscomm days, medium is the message,,in this case whoever won during that cheering competition speaks of the recent "lasalyan" standards....CHEAP, POOR MEDIOCRES! (no offense to other "Lasalyans") u'll say im angry because we lost,,,yes i am, infact i'm burning...This is not La Salle, the university of the future..This is La Salle the university of Cheap standards...at least i know for a fact that ARTIANS kept wat was supposed to be a true LASALYAN STANDARD,,,,class A performance for Class A "Lasalyans " and individuals who know exactly wat a Class A cheerleading performance should be...GO ARTIANS!

pressure

i cant sleep. im worried with my exams and performance in school this semester. it's my last but it proves to be my worst. graduation is just around the corner yet somehow, i cant take hold of it. my grades appear to not match the efforts i put in. i dont understand. i've been doing my best but it just doesn't seem enough... help!

we survived!

after this week's exams, we (darlene, angeline, and myself) decided we had to celebrate. no major celebration, we just watched a movie. but we all felt good, having the burden of exams removed.

nice night

this evening, my cd friends (ara c abraham!) together with the dc boys, had a little gathering at hideout. t'was fun coz everything was so spontaneous. had so much fun. a great way to start my week!
